Yesterday was a 14+ hour work day with lots of time spent running around and moving heavy stuff. (We had a fundraiser at work. It was a boatload of work but also a boatload of fun.) Maybe I depleted my salt and electrolytes, because I woke up this morning hungry for a batch of fresh, homemade hummus that is extra tart and extra salty. I’m sitting here now noshing on it with my morning coffee, and it made me wonder what else hummus can be used for besides slathering it on sandwiches and using it as a dip. Per Google, here are 10 things to do with hummus – and they ALL look delicious. Posting this here to share it with you and also save it for later. (Because after a 14+ hour work day, I won’t be cooking today, and probably won’t be doing much of anything else, either.)
With my current (and hopefully not permanent) gluten-free status, I’m loving these awesome chickpea chips as an alternative to corn tortilla chips. Kroger sells them for about $6.49 a bag – and Amazon sells a case of 12 bags for about $32! The seeded multigrain is deeeeelicious.Enjoy!
